Three sovereigns appear in 2025: this 2025 Bullion Gold Sovereign; 2025 St George and the Dragon Proof; and the Jean Baptiste Merlen's 2025 Shield Proof.
It will be the final year that the Royal Mint produces the sovereign in rose gold, opting to move future production away from the red-hued metal to the more traditional yellow gold.
The Reverse shows the famous design of St George & the Dragon by Benedetto Pistrucci.
