The 2019 Gold Sovereign - IndiaGold Sovereign minted at the MMTC-PAMP mint in India under licence from the Royal Mint. These are exactly the same standard as a normal gold sovereign and have the same tax advantages in the UK.
The Gold Sovereigns are minted with the quality control of the Royal Mint and are legal tender in the UK. There is an 'I' mint mark just above the date.
Benedetto Pistrucci's famous portrayal of St. George slaying the dragon is depicted on the reverse of the coin.
The Obverse shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.These are bullion gold coins but are usually accompanied by with a deluxe presentation box.
