Queen Elizabeth II’s second portrait can be seen on the obverse, designed by Arnold Machin.
The 1984 gold proof sovereign was originally housed in a Royal Mint acrylic screw top capsule and presented in its Royal Mint red leatherette case, accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
