The Reverse of the 1902 Sydney Sovereign depicts Benedetto Pistrucci’s famous portrayal of St George slaying the dragon. The small 'S' on the ground just above the date indicates the gold sovereign was minted at the Sydney mint, New South Wales, Australia.
