Emperor Marcus Aurelius was the 16th Emperor and was born in Rome, Italy, on 26 April 121AD. He was the last of the rulers known as the Five Good Emperors, and the last emperor of the Pax Romana (27 BC to 180 AD), which was an age of relative peace and stability for the Roman Empire. Marcus Aurelius died on 17 March 180, aged 58.
