What happended in 1827?
The Monarch is George IV. There were three Prime Ministers: Robert Jenkinson (Lord Liverpool), 2nd Earl of Liverpool (Tory, until 9 April, due to ill health); George Canning (Coalition, 10 April - 8 August, died); F. J. Robinson, 1st Viscount Goderich (Coalition, from 31 August). The Duke of Wellington becomes Commander-in-Chief of the Forces. Inventor John Walker produces the friction match. London Standard newspaper launched.
