What happended in 1719?
Monarch is King George I. The Jacobite rising of 1719 tried to restore the exiled James to the throne. The Royal Academy of Music is founded. Daniel Defoe publishes Robinson Crusoe, but at the time made it look like it was written by real person called Robinson Crusoe (it was fiction). Bank rate set at 5%, and it kept that figure for 100 years.
