The horse Diamond Jubilee wins the English Triple Crown by finishing first in the Epsom Derby, 2,000 Guineas and St Leger, ridden by Herbert Jones. 1900 is not a leap year, although 1896 and 1904 are; the rule is that century dates have to be divisable by 400.
