The 2025 Queens Panther 1oz Gold Proof £100 Charles IIIThe Royal Tudor Beasts from the Royal Mint commemorate the ten heraldic beasts that line the Moat Bridge of Hampton Court Palace. The Queens Panther is the seventh coin to be released in the series.
The one ounce gold proof coin has a Limited Edition 200 (Maximum mintage 210). It is denominated as £100.
Created at the request of King Henry VIII, the 10 beasts are: The Seymour Panther, the Lion of England, the Bull of Clarence, the Tudor Dragon, the Greyhound of Richmond, the Royal Dragon, the Yale of Beaufort, the Seymour Unicorn, the Queen’s Panther and the Queen’s Lion.
The Reverse, by David Lawrence, shows the Queens Panther and is surrounded by the simple legend "QUEENS PANTHER 2025".
Edge is milled.
The Obverse shows a portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings. Artists initials 'MJ' just below neck. Legend "CHARLES III D G REX F D 100 POUNDS 2025".The series is available as a £5 coin and a variety of silver and gold weights.
