The 2024 Beowulf & Grendel 1oz Silver Bullion Coin £2A 999 silver bullion coin, one troy ounce and denominated as two pounds. This is the first in a three coin collection featuring British folklore from the epic poem Beowulf. Beowulf is the longest surviving poem, dating from somewhere between the 8th and 11th century.
The coin is intended as bullion and is available as 1oz silver and as 1oz gold coins.
The reverse, by David Lawrence, shows Beowulf fighting his first enemy Grendel.
The Edge is milled.
