The 2023 Five Pounds - Six Decades of 007 - Bond Films of the 1960s BU - Charles IIIThe first coin in a new 007 collection from the Royal Mint "Six Decades of 007" and is "Bond Films of the 1960s". This is the BU Five Pound (£5) coin showing the flying "Little Nellie" from James Bond film "You Only Live Twice" (1967, Sean Connery).
The Six Decades of 007 collection is a series of seven coins, each celebrating a decade of James Bond 007 films. The coins are released as BU, silver, gold, denominated as £2, £5 and higher, plus bullion coins for investors. Coins released in 2023 and 2024.
The Reverse, by Matt Dent and Christian Davies, shows the flying Little Nellie from James Bond film You Only Live Twice, set on a background of micro text of the names of the 1960s Bond films. Below is the original 007 logo. The image sits inside a wide border that represent the rifling of a gun barrel.
The edge is milled.
