The 2022 Quarter - Nina Otero-WarrenThe Nina Otero-Warren Quarter was the fourth coin to be released in the American Women Quarters™ Program.
Adelina "Nina" Otero-Warren (1881-1965) was an American, woman's suffragist, educator, politician and the first female superintendent of Santa Fe public schools. She was the first Latina to run for Congress.
The Reverse shows an image of Nina Otero-Warren surrounded by three individual Yucca flowers which are New Mexico’s state flower. Text includes "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" "NINA OTERO-WARREN", "VOTO PARA LA MUJER" (the Spanish equivalent of the slogan "Votes for Women"), "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "QUARTER DOLLAR". Sculptor was Craig Campbell and designer was Chris Costello.

The Obverse shows a portrait of George Washington facing right designed by American sculptor Laura Gardin Fraser (1889-1966). The image was originally submitted in 1931. Text includes "LIBERTY", "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the date "2022".Coins minted at the Denver and Philadelphia mints.
