Anna May Wong was the first Chinese American film star in Hollywood and appeared in more than 60 movies.
The Reverse shows an image of Anna May Wong resting her head on her hand. Text includes "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" "ANNA MAY WONG", "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "QUARTER DOLLAR". Sculptor was John P. McGraw and designer was Emily Damstra.

The Obverse shows a portrait of George Washington facing right designed by American sculptor Laura Gardin Fraser (1889-1966). The image was originally submitted in 1931. Text includes "LIBERTY", "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the date "2022".Coins minted at the Denver and Philadelphia mints.
