A new reverse was created for the platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and is used for the 2022 sovereign series only.

The Reverse of the 2022 Gold Five-Sovereign shows Timothy Noad's interpretation of the Royal Coat of Arms.
The edge is milled.
The Obverse shows the fifth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.Limited Edition mintage is 750.
