The 2022 50 Pence Coin - Hogwarts Express Silver ProofThe second coin in the Royal Mint's 25th anniversary of Harry Potter is 'Hogwarts Express'.
The series are a collection of 50p coins (BU and colourised variants) and various silver and gold weights. The release schedule is that Harry Potter was released October 2022, Hogwarts Express December 2022, Dumbledore 2023, and Hogwarts 2023. The 2022 coins feature Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse, and the 2023 have King Charles III.
The Reverse is an image of the Hogwarts Express by Jim Kay and Ffion Gwillim. The text says "HOGWARTS EXPRESS". Below is Microtext, "25 YEARS OF MAGIC" and to the right a Latent Feature which displays 25 or a lightening bolt when viewed at the correct angle. The image also contains Harry waiting on the platform and an owl above.
