The 2021 Five Pound Coin - Alice’s Adventures in WonderlandFive Pounds version and the first coin from the Royal Mint’s Treasury of Tales collection.
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is a book published in 1865 by Lewis Carrol (a pseudonym of Charles Dodgson). It is a fantasy story of a young girl who falls through a rabbit hole into a mysterious World full of strange people and talking animals, such as the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat and Queen of Hearts. It is one of the most popular books in English literature.
This coin is a BU coin denominated as £5 and colourised. In the series there is a one-ounce silver proof (colourised), half-ounce silver proof (not colourised) and gold coins were also minted.
