The 2021 50 Pence Coin - Winnie the Pooh: OwlThe Royal Mint released the second coin of the 2021 Winnie the Pooh collection in October 2021 and shows 'Owl', one of Winnie's good friends and the wisest inhabitant of the Hundred Acre Wood. The friendy bee once again makes an appearance. The release celebrates 95 years since the first publication of A. A. Milne's famous bear.
The Reverse is by The Walt Disney Company and shows an image of the gang in the style of the original book illustrations by E. H. Shepard.
The coin has been released as BU, Coloured BU, Coloured Silver Proof and Gold Proof.
The Obverse shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.The coins can be obtained individually or as sets. Each has some sort of booklet or enhanced packaging.
