The 2020 UK Three Graces Two-Ounce Gold Proof

As part of the Royal Mint's The Great Engravers Collection, the Three Graces design by William Wyon is one of the most beautiful and sought after images.

This 2020 2-ounce gold proof was released by the Royal Mint on 22 February 2021 and the entire collection sold out within minutes. The maximum mintage was set at 335 coin.

The coin is 999.9 fine gold, 2 ounce (62.42g) and has a diameter of 40mm. It has been denominated as £200.

The Reverse shows a reproduction of the Three Graces, an early work of William Wyon RA (1795-1851), who was born in Birmingham, England, and was Chief Engraver of the Royal Mint from 1828.

The Obverse shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.

The coin was released as Proof in silver (2oz, 5oz) and in Gold (2oz, 5oz).
