The diameter is 32.69mm. Denominated as £100, it is legal tender in the UK. SCBC: RD2.

The Reverse, by Timothy Noad, shows the Royal Arms. The background is a radial design which improves the contrast of the main design and acts as a security feature. Legend is "1oz FINE GOLD 999.9" with date at top of coin.

The Obverse shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
