Total mintage is 661 but only 475 were released as a special edition.
The 2020 VE Day coin is to celebrate the 75th anniversary of VE Day (8th May 1945).
The Reverse, by Dominique Evans, shows a jubilant crowd on VE Day - Victory in Europe, with the light rays of St Pauls Cathedral in the background. At top is "1945-2020", showing 75 years since the end of WWII for Europe.
Edge Inscription is "JUST TRIUMPH AND PROUD SORROW".
The Obverse shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.This coin is in several of the Royal Mint sets. The coin was available as BU, Silver Proof, Silver Piedfort and Gold Proof.
