The 2020 Five Pound Coin - End of Second World WarA five-pound coin to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. The coin is released as Cupro-Nickel BU and limited editions in silver proof, silver proof Piedfort and gold proof.
The Reverse, designed by Matthew Dent and Christian Davies, shows a simple but effective WAR/PEACE cross image.
The edge of the silver proof is inscribed THROUGH COURAGE AND ENDURANCE.
The Obverse shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.The images shown are of the silver proof.
