The 2020 Gold Britannia Premium Six-Coin Proof Set
The set was released by the Royal Mint in 2020 and with a limited presentation edition of only 150 they quickly sold out. Originally offered at £3,850 the price is now considerably more.
The Reverse, designed by James Tottle, shows Britannia standing on a rock, facing the wind. She holds a trident in her left hand and a shield in her right. In the background is the Union flag.
The Obverse of each coin shows the fifth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
The set consists of 6 coins:
- 1oz Britannia, Denomination £100
- 1/2oz Britannia, Denomination £50
- 1/4oz Britannia, Denomination £25
- 1/10oz Britannia, Denomination £10
- 1/20oz Britannia, Denomination £1
- 1/40oz Britannia, Denomination 50p
