The 2019 10 Pence Coin - K - King ArthurThe 'K' coin in the Quintessentially British A-Z 10p Coins collection is King Arthur. The legend of King Arthur is known all around the World although we still don't know for sure if he actually existed.
Arthur Pendragon is said to have lived around the 5th or 6th century in the mythical city of Camelot, together with his wife Guinevere, his sword Excalibur, the Knights of the round table (such as Sir Lancelot), and a magician called Merlin.
The Reverse shows the letter K and King Arthur with the knights of the round table. The reverse was designed by the The Royal Mint Team.
The coin is legal tender and is made from Nickel Plated Steel. The diameter is 24.50mm and weighs 6.50g. (The .925 Sterling Silver proof version weighs the same).
