The 2018 Five Pound Coin - 5th birthday of HRH Prince George This coin is to commemorate the 5th birthday of HRH Prince George of Cambridge, although strangely the young Prince does not appear on the coin in image or name. However, Jody Clark made a nice job of the Reverse by redesigning the namesake George and the Dragon as a fairy-tale image.
The coin is available in BU and generally issued in an open out card with a photo of the Royal Family that does have George on it. There is also a silver proof version limited to 7000.
The Obverse shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II also by Jody Clark.Images shown are the proof version.
