The 2017 American Silver EagleOne-Troy ounce 99.9% silver coin.
Bullion Silver Eagle coins do not have mint marks and they were minted at either the West Point mint or San Francisco mint.
There were 564,395 Proof coins minted: 440,596 from West Point mint (with a 'W' mint mark); and 123,799 from San Francisco mint (with a 'S' mint mark).
In addition to the above, there were 176,739 burnished (matt-like) uncirculated coins minted. Minted at West Point and carry a 'W' mint mark.
The Obverse design is based on the Walking Liberty Half-Dollar (1916-1947) by Adolph A. Weinman.
Edge is milled.
