2015 Gold 5 Pound Coin - Longest Reigning Monarch In 2015 Queen Elizabeth II became the longest reigning Monarch of all time, breaking the previous record of Queen Victoria. This is a Gold Proof Crown commemorating this special occasion.
The Reverse, designed by James Butler, shows a crown with the dates 1952 and 2015. The denomination of 'ONE CROWN' is shown at the bottom.
The Edge is inscribed 'LONG TO REIGN OVER US'.
The Obverse shows Queen Elizabeth II’s special 90th birthday portrait, also designed by James Butler.The maximum mintage is 1,500 but only 1,000 are available in a special limited edition presentation, housed in a wooden box with outer and COA (Certification of Authenticity).
