The 2015 First Spouse $10 Gold: 1953-1961 Mamie Eisenhower Mamie Eisenhower was the wife of 34th President, Dwight "Ike" Eisenhower. The coin was issued in 2015.
Marie Geneva Doud was born on 14 November 1896 in Iowa. She married Dwight in 1916. At the time, Dwight was in the army and the young couple moved many times, all around the World. Mrs Eisenhower was always very supportive of her husband. She died 1 November 1979, aged 82.
