The 2014 Two Pound Coin - WW12014 was the 100th Anniversary of the Outbreak of the First World War.
The two pound coin commemorated this with a coin showing the famous recruitment poster featuring Lord Kitchener with the legend "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU".
The inscription reads "THE FIRST WORLD WAR 1914–1918" with "2014" below.
The edge inscription is "THE LAMPS ARE GOING OUT ALL OVER EUROPE".
The reverse was designed by John Bergdahl.
The obverse is Queen Elizabeth II.
