2009 50 Pence Coin - Kew Gardens2009 saw the 250th anniversary of the foundation of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
Christopher Le Brun designed the reverse showing the pagoda encircled by a vine and accompanied by the dates "1759" and "2009".
Obverse is the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley.
With only 210,000 released by the Royal Mint, the Kew Gardens 50p is one of the most sought-after coins amongst collectors.
