The 2006 American Silver EagleOne-Troy ounce 99.9% silver coin.
Bullion Silver Eagle coins do not have mintmarks. Proofs were made at West Point and have a 'W' mint mark.
Besides this there were 468,020 Burnished (matt-like) uncirculated coins issued from West Point with a 'W' mint mark, and 248,875 Reverse Proofs from the Philadelphia mint. These were to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Silver Eagle.
The Obverse design is based on the Walking Liberty Half-Dollar (1916-1947) by Adolph A. Weinman.
Edge is milled.
