The coin was available as BU, Silver Proof and Gold proof. There is a BU Proof that was issued as part of the 2002 year set.
The Obverse, by Ian Rank-Broadley, shows an equestrian image of the Queen on horseback. Legend is "ELIZABETH II DEI GRA REGINA FID DEF" with an inner legend of "AMOR POPULI PRAESIDIUM REG" (The love of the people is the Queen's protection). Below, the Royal Coat-of-Arms split the date 2002.
The Reverse, also by Ian Rank-Broadley, is a portrait of The Queen looking over her shoulder, which is an unusual angle for a bust.Both designs were used on this coin only.
