The 2000 One Pound Coin - DragonThe Reverse shows a Dragon passant representing Wales. It was designed by Norman Sillman and used in 1995 and 2000.
Besides the circulation coin, the coin was also available as BU, Proof, Silver Proof, Reverse Frosting and Reverse Frosting Piedfort.
The Obverse is the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley.
The Edge Inscription is PLEIDIOL WYF I'M GWLAD which means 'True am I to my country'.
