The 1985 One Pound coin - LeekThe reverse shows the Leek and royal diadem representing Wales and was designed by Leslie Durbin. The design was used in 1985 and 1990.
The obverse shows the second portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Raphael Maklouf.
The Edge Inscription is PLEIDIOL WYF I'M GWLAD which translates as "True am I to my country".
