The 1922 Peace Dollar - USASilver Peace Dollar, dated 1922. No mint mark indicates the Philadelphia facility of the US Mint.
The Peace Dollar was minted as high relief in 1921 and partly in 1922. The high relief proved difficult in production so the coin was then produced as normal relief in 1922 and in subsequent years.
The 1922 Peace Dollars were minted in Philadelphia (no mint mark), Denver ('D') and San Francisco ('S').
The Obverse shows the head and neck of Liberty. Designed by Anthony de Francisci, you can see his monogram under the neck.
The edge is reeded (milled).
The Reverse, also by Anthony de Francisci, shows a bald eagle holding an olive branch. The word PEACE appears below. The 1922 Peace Dollar high relief is a very expensive coin.
