There are several variations on this, mainly on the Saltire (Saint Andrew's Cross) which can have plain, thin or thick lines. The proof version has the same variants.
Reverse, by William Wyon, is Britannia, seated, with trident and Union shield; shamrock, rose, and thistle in exergue.
