The Obverse shows the conjoined busts of William and Mary facing right. Legend is "GVILELMVS ET MARIA DEI GRATIA".
The edge has diagonal milling.
The Reverse shows crowned Royal shields of England, Scotland, Ireland and France. At the centre is the arms of the House Nassau, representing William. In the angles is the monogram containing W and M. The date is split around the centre. Legend: "MAG BR ET HI REX ET REGINA".Image credit: Museums Victoria
