The 1692 Five Guineas - William and MaryThe Obverse shows the conjoined bust of William and Mary.
On some 1692 guineas there is a small elephant and castle logo below the bust; this indicates that the gold came from the Africa Company. These are priced about the same as without the logo.
The regnal year is on the edge written as text. For 1692 it can be QVARTO or QVINTO.
The Reverse (no image available) has a crowned quartered shield of arms, with side flourishes and with a lion of Nasser in the center.
In VF condition this coin can cost well over £10,000.
