The 1664 Two GuineasThe Reverse shows crowned cruciform coats-of-arms with sceptres in the quarters and a design of four interlocked monograms in the centre.
There are variants that have an small elephant below the King's bust which indicates that the gold came from the Africa Company. These are priced only slightly above the ones without the elephant logo.
The Obverse shows the first laurel bust of King Charles II.The 1664 two guineas is often priced lower than the 1664 guinea.
