The 1658 Crown - Oliver Cromwell1658 Cromwell Silver Crown. Cromwell was not Monarch but Lord Protector as Cromwell had executed Charles I and Charles II was in exile. You can read more about him further below.

The Latin inscription is 'OLIVAR D G RP ANG SCO ET HIB & PRO' which means "Oliver, by the Grace of God of the Republic of England, Scotland and Ireland etc. Protector".
